About Us

Established in 1973, the club currently has two private flying fields, both with access throughout the year with off road parking and within a 6 mile radius of Redditch, just a few minutes from the motorway network.

Club Fees

Club membership runs for 12 months from when you join.

Like all clubs, we require each pilot hold a BMFA membership. This can be arranged through our club or directly with the BMFA. Our club membership fee can also be spread over the year through 12 monthly instalments with an additional small cost for administration if you pay this way.

It is also now a legal requirement for all model aircraft operators to be registered with the Civil Aviation authority at a cost of £9 a year.

Please be aware that there is a one off joining fee of £25 for senior and family memberships and a £12.50 for junior memberships.

Membership

As a member you will enjoy 7 days a week flying at our two fields. If you are a beginner you will have the opportunity to train with one of our experienced club instructors – completely free of charge! The club also organises social events throughout the year, including barbecues, competitions and days out to flying events. Throughout the winter we also have access to an indoor flying venue, perfect for those cold winter nights!
